We plan the workshops in collaboration with you; we discuss your brief in detail and the options that would best suit your organisation to create a programme that will make the most suitable development package for your staff.
We have a wide range of solutions we’ve already provided for clients, some examples are below:
Between one and two hours that you can use as part of staff development days. These quick, punchy workshops focus developing one particular skill to ensure good practical application back on the job.
For example, we delivered a two hour workshop with our accredited Mindfulness trainer to 10 delegates with practical applications of Mindfulness techniques to enable them to manage their own mental well-being. Feedback showed that delegates used these techniques on a daily basis after the workshop and felt more in control of their mental health as a result.
Half–day Workshops / Full day workshops
These workshops go into more depth on a topic and allows delegates to reflect on their own practice and apply the learning to their own contexts.
For example, we developed a leadership workshop for ALS Training with our leadership expert that challenged delegates to reflect on what kind of a leader they were and what the skills they needed to develop to enable them to be a better leader in the workplace.
Learning and Development Apprenticeships
For business who are looking for long term investment in developing the skills of their Learning and Development Staff, we provide an apprenticeship programme which includes a BTEC Level 3 Certificate in Learning and Development and essential skills in numeracy, literacy and digital literacy.
This programme is developed with you, as the employer, to ensure the units chosen meets the requirements of the business as well as your employee’s own development needs. The qualification includes understanding and applying learning and development theory, reflection on own practice, and a project to improve learning and development in the workplace.
There is an element of home study and the employee should be allowed time in work (we recommend an hour a week) to work on their project.
The programme lasts approximately 12-15 months.
