Become a Qualified IQA
Why do this qualification?
If you are responsible for quality checking qualifications to ensure they meet Awarding Organisations standards, then the IQA qualification (Agored Cymru Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment) is for you.
Our course will explore the importance of effective quality assurance. We will help you understand your role as an IQA, your responsibilities in terms of Awarding Organisations and the law. We will help you develop softer skills to develop and support assessors and their assessment practice.

Who is this qualification for?
This qualification is for qualified assessors looking to take the next step on the career ladder.
You must be able to actually plan and carry out quality assurance activity with at least 2 assessors.
How is the qualification delivered?
We run a 2 day workshop that covers the knowledge requirement for the qualification.
You will have 1 assignment to complete and will generate evidence of planning and carrying out quality assurance activity. An assessor will visit you to review your evidence and observe you carrying out quality assurance activity with an assessor.

Our courses are held at Welsh ICE, Britannia House, Caerphilly Business Park, Caerphilly, CF83 3GG
Our IQA course dates are:
- Tuesday 12th February and Tuesday 19th February 2019
- Wednesday 5th June and Thursday 20th June 2019
- Thursday 3rd November and Thursday 10th November 2019
The work-based assessments are at a time and a place to suit you.
How long does the course take?
The whole course will last approximately 3-6 months, as you actually have to carry out the role of an IQA, we work at a pace to suit you.
How much does the course cost?
£550pp + VAT

Following on from this course then can then obtain the Lead IQA qualification should you wish to.
If a cancellation notice is received by Panda Education & Training less than 10 working days prior to the training date, the cancellation charge is 75% of the training fee.
Alternatively, a substitution can be made for the course.
If a paid for person has started their course and leaves the organisation, we cannot subsitute their payment for another person to start a new course.
Panda withhold the right to reschedule a course, if this happens a full refund will be given if the attendees cannot make the new date.
