
About this Assessor course:
This assessor course requires you to assess your learners in a classroom or workshop setting, using methods such as questioning, projects, case studies, workbooks, and simulated observations.

Further Information
If you are teaching and assessing learners’ vocational knowledge and skills in a workshop or classroom situation. This is the industry standard qualification that you must hold. You must be able to work with 2 learners in the workplace to demonstrate your planning and assessment skills.
The course is delivered in 3 parts:
- 4 x half-day workshops delivered via Zoom
- The completion of 3 assignments.
- Practical work – carrying out assessment activity including an observation of assessment practice
Also:
- To complete this qualification, you must have access to 2 learners in the classroom or workshop environment who are working towards industry or qualification standards.
- Funding available – We are working in partnership with Bridgend College to fund this course – please ask us about eligibility requirements
- This course can be completed in bilingually (workshops are in English, assignments and mentoring can be done in Welsh)
Related qualifications
Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment – is for teachers, tutors, trainers assessing at least 2 learners in a workplace. This qualification ensures you are developing skills to assess occupational competence against industry or qualification standards.
Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement – is for teachers, tutors, trainers assessing at least 2 learners in a workplace situation. This qualification ensures you are developing skills to assess occupational competence and skills knowledge and understanding against qualification or industry standards.
Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training – this course is for anyone looking to further develop their teaching, training and assessment practice including planning and delivering inclusive training, developing resources that meet curriculum and accessibility requirements, whilst teaching (or training) in a specialist area. Funding is available for people in Wales through a partnership with Coleg y Cymoedd.

Cancellation Policy
If a cancellation notice is received by Panda Education & Training less than 10 working days prior to the training date, the cancellation charge is 50% of the training fee.
Alternatively, a substitution can be made for the course.
If a paid for person has started their course and leaves the organisation, we cannot substitute their payment for another person to start a new course.
Panda withhold the right to reschedule a course, if this happens a full refund will be given if the attendees cannot make the new date.
