If you are new into the role of assessing; want to become a qualified assessor or assess learners as part of a teaching or training role, this qualification will provide you with a sound knowledge of using assessment competently and appropriately.
The course is delivered, across Wales and the UK, over 4 x half day workshops via Zoom, followed by 3 assignments.

This assessor course can be completed in bilingually (workshops are in English, assignments and mentoring can be done in Welsh)
Following completion of this assessor course, you can complete further qualifications in assessment, once you have access to two learners to carry out assessment with.
Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement – is for teachers, tutors, trainers assessing at least 2 learners in a workshop or classroom situation. This qualification ensures you are developing skills to assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding.
Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment– is for teachers, tutors, trainers assessing at least 2 learners in a workplace situation. This qualification ensures you are developing skills to assess occupational competence against qualification or industry standards.
Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement – is for teachers, tutors, trainers assessing at least 2 learners in a workplace situation. This qualification ensures you are developing skills to assess occupational competence and skills knowledge and understanding against qualification or industry standards.
Level 3 Certificate in Learning and Development – a qualification that includes both training and assessment skills.
