How long is the course?

The course takes between 3-6 months to complete. We provide one one to one mentoring sessions to prepare for the Micro teach session, which takes place at the end of the course.

What are the entry requirements?

There are no formal entry requirements for this training course, although experience in the subject you wish to teach is beneficial. Good literacy skills (Level 2) and being IT literate are desirable.

How will I be assessed?

There a self-study element which is supported by digital resources, and a coursebook. You will be assessed by assignments, and the planning and delivery of a 20 minute micro-teach session. You will have a one hour mentoring session and e-mail support throughout the course.
