We wanted to update you on our plans for the next few months.
We want to reassure you that we will continue to provide training and assessment services to a high standard – our passion for learning and quality of delivery will not be compromised.
The situation is constantly changing, and we are following the advice and guidance of the Welsh and UK Governments. You can find this information on their live page which is regularly updated: https://www.gov.uk/government/topical-events/coronavirus-covid-19-uk-government-response.
The safety and wellbeing of our staff and our learners is of utmost importance to us and we are mindful of the Government’s advice to limit non-essential contact. Therefore we will be adapting our delivery methods to ensure that we can act responsibly as well as continuing to provide continuity of services.
We will continue with our scheduled courses, delivery has been adapted to suit the remote environment and the fact that our delegates will most likely be working from home, where they may have various distractions.
For our existing learners, assessment visits will be completed using the online conference software Zoom or Microsoft Teams. These tools give us the ability to screen-share, record discussions and have face-to-face conversations. We will send you a link which will take you directly to the conference portal.
Where required, we will request reasonable adjustments to assessment methods with the Awarding Organisation, to ensure progression and achievement of qualifications.
Over the next few months, we will also be developing our provision to include new courses to be available on-line by the autumn. We will also provide regular blogs and resources to aid your professional development.
We will continue to quality assure and accredit qualifications using remote tools and techniques.
We will contact you directly if there are any changes or developments and we will keep our Twitter Feed, website and Facebook page updated with the latest news, sharing of useful advice, resources and some positivity to raise the spirits.
