Panda – our second successful year in business!

CBF Start-Up Award

It’s been quite a year for us at Panda…

We have delivered:

20 workshops to 16 post-16 learning providers and over 400 practitioners

10 qualification courses (AVA/IQA/AET) to over 60 practitioners

20 Learning and Development Apprenticeships

The feedback we received from these fabulously hard working tutors, trainers and assessors across Wales inpsires us to continue what we are doing, and we’d like to do more…. this is why we have redesigned our website to include guest blogs that are of interest to practitioners, and a resources page which will hopefully give useful ideas to use in delivery. We are so pleased that to launch our new website, Stella Collins has written us a fantastic blog about neurosience and work-based learning.

We have also included a calendar of events, so our course dates are easier to find.

In 2019, we are also looking to expand our portfolio of training to include skills training for businesses, including leadership & management, so keep an eye on our calendar for those!

We are so grateful to all the organisations who have partnered with us, to allow us to work with your staff, and hope that they have seen the benefits of the training on the ground with their learners.

To top the year off, we were delighted to win the Caerphilly Business Forum Start-Up of the Year Award. This meant a lot to us, as we took a big risk leaving our cosy, well paid jobs, to follow our passion, and to be recognised for developing a sustainable, profitable company was amazing. We’d like to thank everyone who has supported, especially our families, and our 2 new members of staff for your continued support.

We are looking forward to seeing what 2019 brings !
